Gary consults on specialized financial and estate plans to meet the financial goals of families. His iterative approach to financial planning establishes measurable objectives and targeted financial guidelines to meet those goals and adjust for ever-changing life events. Gary’s methodical approach is well suited for family financial needs assessments, organizing complex estates, assessing the financial implications of family business sales, generational cash flow needs, and many other special projects.
Prior to joining CFM in 2008, Gary was a tax partner with KPMG, where he was the founding partner of KPMG Boulder. He has over 30 years of experience in diverse industries such as real estate, retail, venture capital, manufacturing, telecommunications, software, and organic foods. He has transaction based experience in merger and acquisitions, partnerships, and high-wealth individuals.
Gary has enjoyed his prior association with a number of civic and industry organizations, such as Venture Capital in the Rockies, Boulder Chamber, Boulder Economic Council, and the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado.
Gary and his wife, Crickett, enjoy charitable volunteering, sports cars, motorcycles and golf.
