Jason Foster, JD
Director of Financial Planning
Jason manages the financial planning team at CFM, monitoring work flow process and product, while enhancing the client experience through initiatives and directives. He also is directly involved with the review and analysis of more complex client needs in estate and tax planning. His legal background and approach to comprehensive financial planning has added yet another resource to an already dynamic team.
Prior to joining CFM in March 2018, Jason was in private practice as an attorney in Minnesota for over ten years, practicing primarily in the areas of estate planning, bankruptcy and tax planning. He moved to the Denver metro area in 2015, and has since acquired his Colorado law license, and his financial licenses at Fidelity Investments and JP Morgan Chase, before landing at CFM in an ideal role based on his unique skill set.
Jason and his wife, Lindsay, have four rambunctious children who occupy most of their non-professional time. As a family, they enjoy the usual pursuits, such as camping, traveling and playing sports.
Jason and Lindsay are very involved in both the nonprofit and disability communities through both professional and volunteer ventures. Jason has volunteered his time on the finance committee for the Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities, and is currently very active with the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association.
